Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy's romantic film "Ennu Ninte Moideen", based on the real-life love story of Moideen and Kanchana, that happened in Kozhikode, Kerala in the 1960s, has been doing roaring business in Kerala.
The film, which was released in Kerala on 19 September, is all set to rock the box offices outside the South Indian State from October onwards. "Ennu Ninte Moideen" will be screened with English subtitles outside Kerala to set new markets for the Malayalam film industry.
The film will be screened in the US and Canada from 9 October. [Theatre list below]
While it will be released on 1 October in Chennai and Coimbatore, the Prithviraj starrer will hit the screens in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Gujarat from 2 October.
"Ennu Ninte Moideen" grossed Rs 5.85 crore from 91 screens at the Kerala box office on the first week, according to trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai.
RS Vimal's romantic entertainer also has Bala, Lena, Tovino Thomas, Saikumar and Sashikumar in pivotal roles.
The director recently announced his plans to remake the hit film in Tamil and reports suggest that Prithviraj is likely to play the role of Moideen in the Tamil version as well.
