Rugby World Cup 2015: Massive Irish rugby game breaks out outside Wembley

After the Irish belted Romania in their Pool D match of the Rugby World Cup, a contingent of travelling supporters decided to continue the ruck and mauls outside the stadium.

Finding a fresh patch of turf outside Wembley Stadium in London, the Irish fans, who may or may not have been intoxicated, began a scrummaging battle against each other that started a full-blown game.

The technique may have been low - with a 'referee' required to blow up the first attempt at the scrum - but the game had it all, including a lineout and rolling maul.

The amateur-game followed Ireland's 44-10 win over Romania, which was followed by Romania's Florin Surugiu proposing to his girlfriend on the Wembley turf. Romania's fans also joined in the game, with one yellow-and-blue face painted fan getting stuck into the first maul.

Nothing beats a good game of drunken rugby, as the cries of "HEAVE" echoed out into the London night.
