Humanity does exist! Though it rarely manifests itself, it does so majestically at times.

Such is the case of young Rohan, who was battling for his life while being given absolutely no heed at Delhi's Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in West Delhi.

He was suffering from tetanus related complications and doctors told his parents that there is no hope for him.

Even then he continued holding on while sharing his hospital bed with another patient.

And that would have been the end of him, had it not been for Mr India!

Well, that's what social media is calling him, after one man not just took Rohan to a private hospital after one glance but also footed his entire medical bills which ran into lakhs.

Here's a letter we received from Pachim Vihar based restaurateur Neeraj Budhiraja, where he talks about Rohan's plight and the mysterious Mr India who saved him:

Hi,

My name is Neeraj Budhiraja.

This is not just another post we see online about a sick boy fighting for his life in a hospital or of a father who cannot afford heavy medical bills.

Neither about a mother who is forced to see her 5-year-old kid dying because of financial crises.

This is about a man who had put his effort to save a child's life. Rather I should say, he tried to save HUMANITY.

He is a pharmacist in Paschim Vihar. He refused to share his name because he is not looking for any fame. Let's call him Mr. INDIA.

I am not writing this post because he is my friend, but to tell you that humanity still exists.

This 5-Year-Old Boy Would Have Died Due To Poverty But Mr India Saved Him #FaithInHumanityRestored

Neeraj Budhiraja

This little 5 year old kid who's name is Rohan and is fighting for his life in Balaji Hospital at Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.

He is suffering from tetanus.

His father Mukesh is so poor that his family can't afford to have three meals in a day.

You must be wondering if they can't afford to have 3 meals a day then what is his son doing in most expensive hospital in Paschim vihar??

On 24th Sep 2015, Mr. INDIA had to visit somebody at Deen Dayal Hospital. As per his statement the entire hospital looked like a hell. People were lying on the floor begging for treatment but sweepers were attending patients instead of doctors.

He was shocked to see this kid on a twin-sharing bed. Doctors refused to treat this kid saying there are no chances of his survival.

They said "You must take him home".

His parents lost all hope they had and were in tears. Without wasting a moment, Sanjeev (Neeraj gives away Mr India's name) hired an ambulance and took the kid to Balaji Hospital.

He has no relation with that family or with that kid. Then why was he doing all this? When I asked this question to him, This was his reply.

He said " If I wouldn't have done this. He must have been dead by now. I wanted to get the entire hospital shifted to Balaji if things were in my hands."

He has spent almost 1 lakh to save this kid.

Rohan is on ventilator now. Doctors have given us an assurance that soon he will be fine.

We have met our health minister Mr. Satyendra Kumar Jain who has promised to help us with all possible help he can do.

We also visited the SDM who has also assured us all help needed. Even the hospital management is very helpful. They are working hard to save this kid.

We may also meet our CM, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal if needed.

One thing I understand, if you have a good heart and will to change things, no body can stop you.

Doctors has given an estimate of Rs 10,00,000. After reading this, if at all you think you can do anything for this kid, please join your hands with us. Your small effort can save his life.

Please send all possible help to his father Mr. Mahesh. He doesn't have a phone so you can call me at 971-898-1195. Spread this and save a life.

Even a small donation from you can bring hope to his family. If you cannot help us financially then help us spreading this on social media until it reaches the higher authorities.

We are really happy to bring you this story which shows not just the fighting spirit of the child but also the humane side of the otherwise infamously cruel capital. We hope Rohan a speedy recovery while we urge all over readers to join in and donate generously towards his treatment.

We also salute Sanjeev (aka Mr India) for his kindheartedness and showing us that humanity is not extinct
