The City of Edmonton is now offering free Wi-Fi service at six LRT stations.
Following a pilot project at the Southgate Station on the Capital Line, the service has been expanded to include:
- University LRT Station
- Health Sciences/Jubilee LRT Station
- McKernan/Belgravia LRT Station
- South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park LRT Station
According to officials, all stations on the Capital Line will have Wi-Fi by the end of 2015.
Officials said users can access the free public network on their device by selecting “Open City” Wi-Fi from the list of wireless networks – the sign-on remains the same as other City-owned public locations.
