Queens Park Rangers will assess a possible hamstring injury to striker Charlie Austin.

The striker limped off after 58 minutes of the 4-0 thrashing at local rivals Fulham, live on Sky Sports.

Austin, who has a track record of injury problems, is likely to undergo a scan over the next 24 hours along with Jamie Mackie, who was also taken off after just 10 minutes on the pitch.

Rangers manager Chris Ramsey said: "I'm not sure how serious the injury to Charlie is yet. I think I'll know more later tonight.

"I also think it was Jamie's hamstring but I haven't had chance to speak to the medics yet. He'll have a scan tonight possibly."

QPR manager Chris Ramsey believes the 4-0 defeat to local rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage was the worst performance under his management

Ramsey also confirmed he will speak to Tjaronn Chery after the attacker stormed off down the tunnel on being substituted for tactical reasons just 35 minutes into the game, with QPR already 3-0 down.

The R's boss said: "I'm disappointed with what he did. It's an internal matter and will be dealt with.

"I took him off because I thought we needed more discipline in the defending part of it and he wasn't performing in that matter at that time.

"It was important at that stage to get ourselves to half-time with the score as catchable as possible."
