The Bilaspur administration Wednesday told the Army to remain on standby as it resumed clearing the debris from the collapsed portion of the tunnel with the fate of the third trapped worker, Hriday Ram (51), still not known.

It is feared that Hriday Ram was buried alive when the under-construction tunnel caved in on September 12. The two other workers, Satish Tomar and Mani Ram, were pulled out safely two days ago.
