Style icon Olivia Palermo cancels Irish visit just three days before she was due to appear
Olivia Palermo has canceled a personal appearance in Ireland, which was due to take place this weekend.
The City star (29) was scheduled to visit Brown Thomas on Dublin's Grafton Street to celebrate the arrival of her Ciaté London collection in store.
However, the department store released a statement today informing customers that Olivia would have to cancel her appearance due to personal circumstances.
“Olivia recently had a minor surgery on her back and due to a slower than expected recovery is physically unable to fly to Dublin this weekend," a representative from Ciaté London said in a statement released today.
"We will be announcing a new date in the near future where Olivia Palermo will be at Brown Thomas Grafton Street to meet customers as planned. Needless to say Olivia is very disappointed that she has to cancel at short notice but is grateful for the support."
The style icon, who has previously visited our shores to mark a fashion launch at Kildare Village, will be rescheduling her appearance though at a date, which has not yet been confirmed. Brown Thomas Managing Director Stephen Sealey explained: "We wish Olivia Palermo a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming her to Brown Thomas on the rescheduled date in the near future."
