Ashish slayed LFW with sequin & gender fluidity
The Delhi-born designer celebrated 10 years of showing at London Fashion Week(LFW) on Tuesday when he sent down models in skateboards to showcase his designs.
Mostly sheers and sequins, models skated through the runway donning sheer dresses embroidered with sequins, glitter-embellished shorts and tracksuits with tutu in hems.

But that wasn't the only trend Ashish wanted to give a shout out to.
Sending two male models dressed in glittering multi-coloured dress and heels was enough a statement to highlight gender fluidity at the fashion week.

Interestingly Ashish added such fluidity and fun to denim garments that were embellished with glitters and sequins. And that denim cape was simply cool, if not wow!

Ashish's fascination for using sequins in everything and anything is well-known, but whenever he does he makes it a point to make a statement. Exhibit A the human body anatomy designed completely in sequins. Who would have thought that?!

He exuberantly mixes sportswear, high-octane glamour and intricate craftsmanship in his collections. No doubt his punk-pop dresses attracts celebs like Katy Perry, Lily Allen, Madonna, M.I.A, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Rita Ora among others.
