Playback singer Radhika Thilak passes away
Singer Radhika Thilak, 45, who mesmerized Malayalees with her mellifluous voice passed away on Sunday night at around 8.30 in a private hospital at Kochi.
She was battling cancer over a year. Survived by her husband Suresh, and daughter Devika, the singer's condition got worsened due to infection after getting admitted in the hospital to cure fever.
Radhika has sung more than 55filmssince her debut one, "Pulkkodithumbilum" song in the film "Sangha Gaanam" in 1989.
Her popular works include 'Maayamanchalil' ('Ottayal Pattalam' - 1991), 'Devasangeetham' ('Guru' - 1997), 'Manjakilyude Moolipattunde' (Kanmadam - 1998) and 'Kaithapoo Manamenthe' (Sneham - 1998).
