Yanina Wickmayer recorded a comeback victory to claim her fourth title on the WTA Tour as she defeated Magda Linette to win the Japan Women's Open.
The 25-year-old unseeded Belgian lost the first set to her Polish opponent 4-6 but fought back from 2-0 down in the second before she reeled off five straight games to take the second 6-3 and level matters.
The 2009 US Open semi-finalist, currently ranked 86th in the world, then sealed the third set with a 6-3 win in a match lasting two hours and 10 minutes in Tokyo.
Wickmayer, who saw off seventh seed Ajla Tomljanovic to reach the final on Saturday, last won a piece of silverware at the ASB Classic in Auckland back in 2010 although she had been in four finals since before sealing her fourth title on Sunday.
