The family members of Mahesh Kumar, a resident of Dhanas who met with an accident in Milk Colony Chowk last week, had said that the police were not registering a case against a policeman who was riding the motorcycle that had hit Kumar, injuring him severely.

On Friday, Kumar arrived at the camp along with his wife and friend Ramakant Prasad. “Earlier, the police were not registering a case against the policeman. But today, a case was registered on the instructions of the SSP,” said Prasad.

“The SSP at the camp asked the police officials of the Sector 9 police post to call my husband and solve the matter. I was expecting that that police would call my husband today and arrest him. But they didn’t do anything,” she said.
