Mindtree Gains 3% on flydubai Tie Up

Mindtree shares gained as much as 3 per cent on Friday after the company said that Dubai-based airlines operator flydubai has selected Mindtree as a strategic technology partner.

Mindtree will focus on transforming flydubai's technology to support passenger sales and service systems, including services such as electronic ticketing and real-time baggage tracking, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The agreement will also extend to other strategic business areas such as revenue management, target monitoring, ancillary revenue and operational optimisation.

"Mindtree will work with flydubai to digitise their value chain, hone operations and create remarkable experiences for each traveller before, during and after their journey," said Parthasarathy NS, president and chief operating officer of Mindtree.

Mindtree shares ended 1.49 per cent higher at Rs 1,400 apiece compared to 1.05 per cent gain in the broader Nifty.
