Roof fire at Melbourne golf club forces around 50 people to flee

Firefighters have been called to Amstel Golf Club in Melbourne's south-east today following reports a blaze had spread through the roof of the clubhouse.
CFA firefighters arrived at the Cranbourne club on Augusta Street at around 1pm to find the front of the building alight, but managed to bring it under control by 1.15pm.
Around 50 people were reportedly evacuated from the building, with paramedics on scene to assess for injury.
