Paul Lawrie has putted his way back into contention at the KLM Open with a third round 63 taking the Scotsman to within one shot of the lead.
He trails joint leaders Rafa Cabrera-Bello of Spain and England's Lee Slattery, who are on 16 under par.
It has been an interesting week for the Aberdonian, who carded a first round 61 - his lowest European Tour score - before dropping 10 places on Friday.
Saturday saw Lawrie produce seven birdies in Zandvoort.
But Slattery, fresh from his Russian Open win, seemed unstoppable and looked composed as he strolled the greens, producing an eagle on the 12th on his way to a 63.
Lawrie's fellow Scot Stephen Gallacher made the cut and sits six under after a 67, while David Drysdale is two under after a disappointing 73.
There was no shortage of excitement at the Kennemer Golf and Country Club. Magnus Carlsson aced the 222-yard eighth hole before Wade Ormsby hit an incredible 158-yard drive straight home on the 11th.
And there was nearly a third hole-in-one from Morten Madsen - had his tee shot on the 17th gone in, it would have been the Dane's third ace of the season.
