Good people, hope you well and started the third term on a good note. I was saddened by the news that some Harare high school boys were turned away on their first day at school because of their haircuts.

To begin with, a clean shave or deep wave is smart when it comes to boys for schooling. I don’t know how some might take it because I have seen the war on social media that the children have their own rights. Guys, remember that what you see on television is not always right. That high school musical thing belongs to the screen.

Last week we attended a debate session dubbed “Swag Bakkerz Gadgets” at Westgate and the topic was on the fastest wheels. And the answer is — the Bentley Bentayga, the ‘World’s fastest SUV’

Yah, it’s not the prettiest car you’ll ever see (more like an acquired taste), but the Bentley Bentayga does have one outstanding claim: it’s the fastest SUV on the entire planet.

The Bentley Bentayga bears much of the automaker’s signature design elements, which, in all honesty, looks much better on their coupes and sedans than on a rugged SUV.

This week girls top the trendy list with their summer colour — white.

White is undoubtedly the colour of summer. White keeps you cool, looks fresh, and couldn’t be more versatile.

But let’s be honest — it could use a little jazzing up. That’s where accessories (and we) come in.

So you can go for the monochromatic outfits and dresses but you may occasionally want to put a zing in your look by going for colourful shoes, bags, jewels, and more that will help your whites shine their brightest, complementing them without stealing the spotlight.

Big Screen highlights
