For his fall campaign, Christian Siriano has tapped Samira Wiley as his muse. Though we’re used to seeing the Orange Is the New Black star, whom fans will know as the loveable Poussey, in gray sweats or khakis, she looks absolutely stunning in the new images wearing a forest green and black strapless number. It appears that Apple has become the new go-to pool of talent for the fashion industry, as Style.com has just nabbed former Apple general manager of Europe, Pascal Cagni, to join its board of directors. Also joining the revamped Style.com is Anna Wintour, which is not too surprising given that the ecommerce site, which will launch in January 2016, is under the Conde Nast umbrella. The Apple-poaching trend began earlier this month when LVMH announced former Apple Music exec Ian Rogers as the chief technology officer. [Fashionista]

There’s no denying that Michelle Obama‘s got impeccable style, so it’s only fitting that she make an appearance on Lifetime’s Project Runway spinoff, Project Runway Junior. FLOTUS is the star of a video that will air on the Dec. 10 episode, in which she reveals Lands’ End episode challenge. She will also spread the word about the Lands’ End’s initiative which benefits one of Obama’s praised projects, Let Girls Learn. The nonprofit organization assists young women globally who are not currently enrolled in school. [WWD]
The ever-fashionable Elton John has teamed up with Lalique for a new “Music is Love” collection, which features limited-edition crystal pieces which will benefit the singer’s charity, the Elton John Aids Foundation. Three pieces, priced between $1,200 to $1,800, the will be available for sale while the fourth, a one-of-a-kind Cire Perdue Angel, will be auctioned off in February. [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
