Calendar Girls, Hero and Pyaar Ka Punchnama teams visit Sanskruti Yuva Pratishthan’s dahi handi in Thane

Sanskruti Yuva Pratishthan’s dahi handi was organised by Thane politician Pratap Sarnaik along with his sons Vihang and Purvesh, and declared one of the safest dahi handis in the state without a single injury taking place.Bollywood films, which will be releasing soon, used the fest as a chance to promote their movies in what is considered as one of the biggest events held in the city. Celebrities, who attended, included Madhur Bhandarkar and the cast of his upcoming movie Calendar Girls — Ruhi Singh (Winner, Miss Universal Peace and Humanity 2014), Satarupa Pyne, Akanksha Puri, Kyra Dutt and Avani Modi. Also spotted were Suniel Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, who came to promote Hero. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 team also stopped by. Others who attended were model-actor Bunty Grewal, music composer and filmmaker Avadhoot Gupte and singers Arvinder Singh and Ritu Pathak. The event ended at 10 pm.
