The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Aug. 31 in Westchester.
It happened at a liquor store located in the 8800 block of Southwest 24th Street.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the business, proceeded to the back coolers where he picked up a beverage. He then approached the store clerk, pointed a firearm at him and demanded he open the register.
Police said the suspect then walked around the counter and removed approximately $3,000 before fleeing on foot.
Surveillance video captured the suspect and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and locating the individual.
