Nara Lokesh to train 40,000 Telugu Desam cadres

Each batch will have around 100 workers and the training will last three days

Hyderabad: After successfully enrolling record number of workers in the TD, Nara Lokesh has taken up an exercise to train 40,000 party cadres from the village to district level.

Lokesh has identified four centres for the training. The training will be imparted at Tirupati, Kandukuru, Tadepalligudem and Araku. Training will start at Tirupati and Kandukuru from September 11.

Village party committee presidents and secretaries, Mandal executive committee members and all members of district committees would be trained. TD party programmes committee chairman V.V.V. Chowdary said the total number of workers will be around 40,000.

Each batch will have around 100 workers and the training will last three days. They will be trained in the party’s constitution, leadership qualities and told about government schemes. TD senior leaders and experts from outside will provide the training.

Lokesh has created a record by enrolling about 50 lakh workers. For the first time Lokesh adopted the online membership system throughout the state. Chief Minister Naidu had praised Lokesh several times at official meetings.

The TD is likely to make Lokesh a general secretary soon. Lokesh will look after party activities in both AP and Telangana.
