After years on hiatus, Bandung-based indie group Mocca has returned by rereleasing its old album Friends.
Guitarist Riko Prayitno said they had rearranged the musical composition of the group's fourth album, originally released in 2004.
'Friends is like a lost album. Not many know of its existence, so we decided to re-release it,' he said as quoted by kapanlagi.com over the weekend.
Mocca, a campus band formed in 1997 and famous for its indie pop, swing and jazzy tunes, released five albums before vocalist Arina Ephipania settled down in the US.
'The album release will also mark the return of Arina for good,' said Riko.
Mocca, which also includes bassist Achmad Pratama and drummer Indra Massad, is also popular in Japan and South Korea.
