Paul McCartney and Jon Bon Jovi are among the superstars to feature on the benefit single "Love Song to the Earth" - a track aimed at raising awareness for global warming.

Other artists featured on the track include Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis and Sean Paul.

"Many people turn a blind eye, arguing that everything is OK environmentally," said Bedingfield in a presser.

"The song reminds us that having ownership of our world means taking care of it. With this song we wanted to talk about the environment in a way that would help people feel empowered to do something rather than be paralyzed by fear."

"Love Song to the Earth" will be available via iTunes and Apple Music on September 11.

All royalties go to the Friends of the Earth to keep fossil fuels in the ground and lower carbon emissions, and to the work of the U.N. Foundation to inspire international action on climate change.
