It was announced today that Deloitte will be establishing a new Galway office with the creation of 30 jobs.

The firm is recruiting for positions at all levels – from graduate through to manager and senior manager. Roles are open to experienced professionals with audit and tax qualifications, in addition to those who wish to gain a professional qualification with a leading professional services firm.

Its new office will be based in the Galway Financial Services Centre and will offer a full suite of services, with a particular focus on audit, accounting and risk advisory, tax, corporate finance and restructuring and company secretarial services.

Managing Partner at Deloitte, Brendan Jennings said, "We are excited to announce the establishment of Deloitte’s office in Galway.

"The city is a global centre of activity for medical technologies and ICT companies, in addition to having a strong indigenous business sector. What’s more it’s an ambitious and fast growing city. At Deloitte, we are similarly ambitious.

"I am confident that there is great opportunity, both for our firm and the business community in Galway. We believe that we have the skillset and breadth of capability, and the drive and ambition, to provide a valuable service to this community. We are very much looking forward to increasing our collaboration with the vast array of innovative and successful companies here to make a real impact for their businesses."
