Andy Roddick is excited to become a dad for the first time.
Of his pregnant wife, model Brooklyn Decker, he said, “She’s doing great. I think it becomes more real by the day. It’s something that’s been done a million times before . . . but to feel the baby moving around . . . it kind of just blows your mind . . . and now we’re at the point where we just want it to be here.”
At a Grey Goose event on Randalls Island, he said he was rooting for Serena Williams to defend her US Open championship: “It’s nice to see her become this icon. It’s past a story about tennis or sports now, they’re going for the calendar-year Grand Slam and trying to become the greatest female athlete of all time… There’s no one else I’d rather bet on.”
