E! will air a tribute special to Joan Rivers to honor the one-year anniversary of her death, the network announced Wednesday.

Hosted by Rivers’ daughter, Melissa Rivers, the half-hour program will celebrate the laughter and fun that the comedy icon brought to fans around the world.

“Celebrating Joan” will feature footage of Rivers’ most outrageous and memorable moments from her years on “Fashion Police,” including bloopers, mishaps and highlights from her best conversations. The revamped “Fashion Police” debuted just this week, now hosted by Melissa.

Rivers died on Sept. 4 at the age of 81, after suffering serious complications when she was admitted to a New York clinic for a standard procedure on her vocal chords. Earlier this year, her daughter filed a malpractice lawsuit against the clinic and the doctors who performed the surgery.

“Celebrating Joan” will debut Sept. 3, the eve of the one-year anniversary of Rivers’ death, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
