This morning, people on Twitter were sharing an incredible mashup of Kanye's 8-minute long VMA speech with the "Seinfeld" theme (you know, that bassline that always gets stuck in your head) and a laugh track.

Here's the video:

"Funny or Die" writer David Elmaleh was the first person who took a swing — adding the laugh track to the Kanye speech and cutting it to create the ultimate stand up set.

"I still don't understand awards shows!" Kanye exclaims, and the laughing kicks in.

Then, the anonymous force behind @Seinfeld2000 (a parody Twitter account that riffs on another "Seinfeld" Twitter account — we know, it's meta) added the bassline we all know and love.

It's pretty great.

The @Seinfeld2000 account "imagens" what it would be like if "Seinfeld" never went off the air.

The tweet of the Kanye mashup from @Seinfeld2000 was sent on August 31, and has over 5,000 retweets.
