It's not all that often that Chievo Verona beat Lazio in Serie A . It's even rarer for them to thump Le Aquile by an emphatic 4-0 scoreline, outclassing them in every area of the pitch.

Still, that's what the Flying Donkeys have just done - shocking all of Italy with the result. Though Chievo fans will doubtlessly have a hundred personal highlights from the match, the rest of us can have only one. It's this assist from forward Riccardo Meggiorini - and it's bloody sublime.

With Chievo already 1-0 up around the 30-minute mark, a speculative second ball was pumped into the Lazio box. It looked to be overhit and going out of play. However, Meggiorini had other ideas.

Big Ric charged onto the pass, his heroic feet speeding like rabbits across a Veronese plain. He then backheeled a flick at an astounding angle back across the box - teammate Alberto Paloschi nodded the ball into the gaping net. Cue insane scenes.

Anyway, we're stunned by the sheer artistry of it. Just gorgeous, Riccardo.
