Ravi Shankar's new look for RX Soori

Ravi Shankar's new look for RX Soori
The onscreen villainous side of actor P Ravi Shankar takes on a different avatar in the upcoming Vijay-starrer RX Soori. And the actor credits that to a coincidental break in his busy schedule. “A lot of my films see me clean-shaven, and that is convenient when you are shooting for more than one film with overlapping schedules.
Luckily, there was a bit of a break before I started shooting for RX Soori, so you see a bit of facial fuzz, something that worked brilliantly for the character that I play here,” explains Ravi Shankar.
The actor adds that director Shree Jai offered him a very clear picture of what was expected of his character. “That helped me improvize further,” he adds.
Also a first here, as reported earlier in BT, is the pairing of Ravi Shankar with Duniya Vijay. “The title of this film seems to have given rise to a lot of speculation and assumptions about what the story might be about. There are people who feel that it may be related to real-life people. But rather than commenting on what it actually is about, I think it is best to let the people see what it is and then draw a conclusion. Prior to that, I feel filmmakers should be allowed the freedom for creativity; films are a work of fiction, after all,” says the actor.
