Carnival To Offer Ten Bermuda Cruises In 2016

September 1, 2015

Carnival Cruise Lines has released its 2016 sailing schedule for Bermuda, which features ten different voyages between April and November, departing from locations including Baltimore, Port Canaveral, Charleston, Miami and New York.

The cruise line said, “With its famous pink-sand beaches, turquoise waters and picture-perfect weather, Bermuda is one of the most popular destinations in cruising.

“And Carnival Cruise Line will provide its guests with a variety of opportunities to visit the island paradise in 2016 with 10 departures that feature at least one overnight docked alongside at historic King’s Wharf.

“From April through November 2016, guests can embark on five different Carnival ships departing from six convenient U.S. homeports offering itineraries ranging from five to eight days — making 2016 one of the cruise line’s most robust Bermuda programs ever.”

Five-day itineraries feature an overnight call at Bermuda; seven-day cruises spend two nights docked at King’s Wharf; and the eight-day voyage features three nights on the island.

“By offering Bermuda cruises from a variety of convenient drive-to homeports, we’re providing guests even more opportunities to experience and explore this incredible island paradise,” said Christine Duffy, Carnival’s president.

How many visits did Carnival make last year.

  2. Cruise watcher says:

Up from this year’s 4 visits. Nice.

  3. Triangle Drifter says:

You have to smile sometimes. “We don’t need no paperbag cruiselines like Carinval”.

Which MP from which political party did that zinger come from? Hint, it was the same party that claimed that it was going to turn tourism around in 100 days. Tourism got worse, then went into virtual freefall.

  4. Left Guard says:

Good news. Nice to year, especially when you consider all the added interest in Cuba now that Obama has eased the travel restrictions for Americans wishing to travel their.

    • Left Guard says:

Nice to hear that at least one of them will stop in St. George.

    • Neal says:

The travel restrictions have not changed one iota. All that happened was the re-opening of the respective embassies. The same restrictions are still in effect as they pertain to trade and travel.

      • Terry says:

        Yes they have.
        Research.

i was in miami airport and there were arrivals and departures to 4 different cuban cities..

from 4 cruises to ten…another nail in the coffin of the need to update the airport…gonna beat the drum till it finally settles in. Richards and co have been touting “economic recover” whilst the middle class in the US in fact continue to suffer and contract. With this undeniable pattern and the oncoming depression we are watching unfold in the markets currently we will be damned lucky if this trend continues (increased sea arrivals). But make no mistake about it. Air arrivals whether it be tourism or business WILL DECLINE DRAMATICALLY.
At the very least this is a brief lull in the storm that will be the global economy in the coming months…

    Great news

  7. I heart 441 says:

Like someone mentioned earlier, this is fantastic news for Bermuda being that Cuba will be an option for many US residents to choose from starting next year. If i’m correct, some cruise lines have already begun booking for Cuba for the first time. They are not only a threat to Bermuda but the whole Caribbean on a whole.

    Big up Carnival!!

  8. Bermudacruisin' says:

I would like to be able to be able to embarking in Bermuda, cruise for 5 – 7 days and return to Bermuda. Save the return airfare.
