Police investigating the death of a 26-year-old woman in the West Midlands have named her.

Wendy Mann was found dead at a house in Chapel Street, West Bromwich, just before 11:30 BST on Friday. A post-mortem examination revealed she died from asphyxiation.

Police have been given an extra 36 hours to question a man, 52, arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday.

West Midlands Police has appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
