WATCH: Miley Cyrus swears, smokes 'marijuana' and smears her face in liquids in NSFW video for 'Dooo It!'

Miley starts by saying, "I need some more pot" and then sings about smoking and mouths lyrics including, "I don't give a f***, I ain't no hippy".

Visually, the video consists of an extended close up of her face, particularly her mouth and depicts her smoking and having her faces smeared in various liquids.

The video released as Miley closed the MTV VMAs with the song, accompanied by former collaborators The Flaming Lips on Sunday night.

Speaking to photographers backstage in the press area she passed around what appeared to be a joint.

Grabbing the microphone, she said: "I've been doing this for a really long time, even though I'm not old I've been doing this for a while, and because you're all my friends and my song is sort of about the love of marijuana and the love of humankind, I've brought a blunt if anyone would like some."

Comments on the YouTube post of Miley's video are overwhelmingly negative with one commenter labelling it "disgusting" and another asking, "She went from Bangerz to this?! WHAT IS GOING ON!?"
