It’s not only about the significant modifications each Bond car came with, but the classic luxury grand tourer was great that way. Maybe coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera had a Eureka moment once they designed this beauty. Whatever the case, it is arguably the most famous car in the world. Therefore, it’s also one of the most expensive classics on the market.
But what if you could have one that packs precisely the same spy gadgets Sean Connery would use in Goldfinger without actually having to give away an arm and a leg for it? Sure, there’s a catch, it is a little smaller than the actual vehicle, about one-third of the original model.

The body’s shape and recognizable aesthetic are mirrored with excellent craftsmanship thus keeping with the original 1964 car. The interior features are also faithfully replicated and made wherever possible of the same materials they used at the Aston Martin factory. Even the paint they use relates to the same metallic gray they covered the original Aston Martin DB5 with, not to mention all the gadgets.

It may be three times smaller, but the car has been refined with functioning Goldfinger gadgets, including remote controlled model machine guns, operational model bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates and a gear stick with ejector button.

In case you were wondering where you can find these puppies, we’ll introduce them to you. There’s a physical and digital asset production company named Prop Shop located in Buckinghamshire, South East England that is making 100 units of these bad boys, and one of them could be yours. As a matter of fact, the collection is limited, and the demand is quite high, so you’d better hurry.

For the missing part, you’ll need to know that the Aston Martin DB5 scaled replica is cheaper than the actual classic vehicle, but that doesn’t make it cheap. More precisely, each of the 100 ever to be created is priced at $43,158, and that’s without VAT. Yep, being James Bond doesn’t come cheap these days.
