The 80s actors' gang party once again

It was party time for the actors from the 80s on Saturday, as they met in the city for their annual reunion. Suhasini Mani Ratnam, who hosted the event, along with Lissy and Khushbu says, 'There were 33 guests at the party. The theme was Moulin Rouge, so everybody were dressed in red. We had red velvet cupcakes and macaroons, so everything was French-inspired.We had red hats for the men, red masks and pouted lip props for women.'
As for the guest list, Suhasini says, 'We had Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Satyaraj, Mohanlal, Mohan, Bhanuchander, and Jayshree. Sarita flew down from Dubai for this event. Sumalatha, Rahman, Menaka, Radha, Ramya Krishnan, Revathy, Shobana, Swapna, Jayaram, his wife Parvathy and Sarathkumar were the other guests.'
Actress Radhika who had also attended the party says, 'Although I had walked in late, it was nice to meet all of them after such a long time.'
'There were two new entrants at the party,' says Suhasini, adding, 'We had Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillon from Mumbai. There was a small Broadway musical-like performance by Khushbu, Jayashree, and I. There was also a Lungi Dance session. Jackie Shroff took back all the 12 lungis that Khushbu had got. We got a little philosophical after 2 am. Mohanlal was telling us about how to stay happy in life and be calm. On the other hand, Jackie Shroff was asking all of us to join hands and do social work,' says Suhasini.
