Wear It Out: Get suited and booted for the weekend

This week, we meet Mollie O’Connor Lloyd in Dublin’s fair city. She has opted for a strong androgynous look for her weekend out. Rocking 1950s gangster with her bright blue fedora and blazer to create this sharp look. Paired with an ‘on fleek’ T-shirt (I still have NO idea what that means) and jeans which bring her outfit into the 21st century and keep it fresh.

Hat:

There are so many fedoras and bowler hats knocking around these days, it is so refreshing to see an unusual one like this in such a fab colour. Electric blue is such a diverse colour and actually goes with everything. I am seeing this colour around a lot for Autumn/Winter so Mollie is well ahead of the trend. Esprit Blue Fedora €11.71 available on asos.com

Blazer: The long-line blazer is universally flattering and no matter your shape it will be gorgeous on you. The sharp tailoring on womenswear these days is incredible and Zara are always top of my list when I am shopping around for smart casual wear. New in this season the crepe blazers are a great fit and shape. Crepe Blazer €69.95 zara.com

Brogues: Brogues, no longer just for bowling and golf. There are so many options and colours in this style of shoe. I am loving the new burgundy ones from Clarks. A neat fit and great with an outfit like this. Valentine Chic Brogues Clarks €60

T-shirt: 'On fleek': 'The earliest known definition of the term 'fleek' was in the Urban Dictionary as 'smooth, nice, sweet and awesome' - I googled it! Well, if that is fleek don't we all want to be it! ebay.com, price unknown.
