Teacup takes over Cafe Muse at Manchester Museum

30 August 2015

CAFE Muse at Manchester Musem is shut for a refurb until Friday, September 18, so the only sustenance on offer is from a vintage ice cream in their allotment, but when it reopens it will be under a new operator – Teacup.

The Northern Quarter tea and cake specialists, co-owned by DJ and tea aficionado, Mr Scruff, have already expanded with a stake in Proper Tea at Manchester Cathedral. TOM expects the Museum formula to be similar with tea costing upwards of £4, cakes a similar price, hot snacks from £7 and an altogether jollier ambience.
