Neymar 'very happy' at Barcelona amid rumours of Manchester United bid

Barcelona star Neymar has told fans they "have nothing to worry about" after speculation linked him with a move to Manchester United.

The Brazil captain -- who formed part of a devastating attacking trident with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as Barcelona won La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Ray last season -- told TV3, in quotes reported by Marca, that he would not be going anywhere.

Reports had linked him with a world record move to United, but he said: "When I hear things like that, I don't think about it.

"I hear them, but I'm totally at ease. I'm very happy at Barca and with my teammates. Barca fans have nothing to worry about."

Barcelona have won both their opening league games as they begin their title defence, and Neymar said he was confident they can enjoy "another great season."

He added: "I don't know if we can score as many goals, but we'll try. We want trophies for our team."

Neymar made his first appearance of the season in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Malaga at the Camp Nou.

The 23-year-old missed the start of Barca's campaign due to mumps, but returned to full training with his colleagues last week.
