The former Liverpool man said he didn't want to say too much about the Italian's pending transfer to AC Milan in case he "jinxed it".

But talk he did. While Carragher hailed the defending by Liverpool following their third clean sheet in a row - going so far as to heap praise on Dejan Lovren - he scoffed at the suggestion that Mario Balotelli had quality.
