Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna amd Rishi Kapoor starred in Amar Akbar Anthony. Tabu (she’s tall and would look very convincing doing the drunken monologue in front of the mirror), Kriti Sanon (she’d look convincing in a police uniform) and Alia Bhatt (what fun to watch her doing the qawwali Parda Hai Parda and wooing Sidharth Malhotra who sits in the audience in a burqa!) would be apt choices. Rohit Shetty can direct the film.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar

Mamik was the shy and serious one in this film while Aamir Khan played the rebel without a cause. Kajol can play guardian while Kangana Ranaut, who went athletic for Tanu Weds Manu Returns can surely cycle faster than Aamir.

Deewar

Daddy’s girl in real life, this one would actually be something of a challenge for Priyanka Chopra to play the steadfastly scrupulous Shashi Kapoor. And Deepika Padukone to play the rebellious Amitabh Bachchan. No question about it.

Yeh Dillagi

Akshay Kumar-Saif Ali Khan fought over Kajol in Yeh Dillagi. Kareena (in Saif’s role) and Karishma (in Akshay’s), obviously.

Kachhe Dhaage

Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan play step-brothers who hate each other in Kachche Dhaage. We nominate Huma Qureshi (for Ajay’s part) and Sonam Kapoor as Saif.

Bhai Ho To Aisa

Jeetendra was the good guy to Shatrughan Sinha’s baddie in Bhai Ho To Aisa. Goody Two-Shoes Katrina Kaif can play Jeetu while Shotgun’s beti Sonakshi Sinha can play the roguish sibling. Like father, like daughter!

Naseeb

Who can forget Rishi Kapoor pleading with a drunk Amitabh Bachchan? This could be Pooja Bhatt’s comeback film with the cute Alia Bhatt doing the pleading.

Aankhen

Govinda and Chunky Pandey played the very mad siblings in Aankhen. Kangana can play the drunken Chunky while Chi Chi’s beti Tina Ahuja can step into papa’s shoes.
