Giving a fillip to beach beautification and widening of the beach road, Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao laid foundation for the two works on Friday.

The beautification of Mangamaripeta, Thotlakonda, Endada and Sagarnagar beaches is being taken up by A P Tourism Development Corporation at an estimate cost of Rs.3.95 crore. The Minister laid the foundation for the four beaches at Thotlakonda beach.

Anakapalle MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, District Collector N. Yuvaraj, MLAs V. Ramakrishna Babu and Palla Srinivasa Rao participated. The Minister urged people to cooperate in making Bhimili, which he represents, a model constituency.

The coming up of international airport at Bhogapuram would lead to establishment of several industries in Bhimili constituency.
