The district administration in association with the rural police and other departments are prepared for the first "Shahi Snan" or royal bath on Saturday at the holy town of Trimbakeshwar, the district collector said here on Friday.

NASHIK: The district administration in association with the rural police and other departments are prepared for the first "Shahi Snan" or royal bath on Saturday at the holy town of Trimbakeshwar, the district collector said here on Friday.
District collector Dipendrasinh Kushwaha said that sadhus and mahants from ten akhadas of the Shaiva sect will participate in a royal procession on Saturday.

The district administration has fixed timings and routes for akhadas for their royal bath and royal procession.
Shri Panchnam Juna Akhada members will take their royal bath along with Shri Panchayati Awahan Akhada and the Panchayati Agni Akhada at 4.45am, the district collector said.

Later, the Panchayati Niranjani Akhada and Panchayati Anand Akhada will take their royal bath at 5.25am, while the Panchayati Mahanirwan Akhada and Panchayati Atal Akhada will take their royal bath at 6 am, the district collector said.
The Panchayati Bada Udasin will take royal bath at 8.45am followed by the Panchayati Nava Udasin Akhada at 9.45am and Panchayati Nirmal Akhada will take royal bath at 10.30am, the district collector said.

The royal procession of these ten akhadas will arrive from Trimbakeshwar's Khanderao temple, Teli Lane and Kushavarta Teerth, the district collector said.
After their bath, mahants and sadhus will visit the Lord Shiva temple for a darshan through the main street and then return, the district collector said.
Adequate police force, including the Rapid Action Force, have been deployed, while CCTV cameras have been installed, he said.
