Marking her entry in the e-commerce arena and completing 25 glorious years in the fashion industry, veteran designer Monisha Jaising will unveil the opulent “Riviera” collection at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 on Saturday, 29th August, 9.30 pm, at the Palladium Hotel, Mumbai.The reticent designer will be showing in Mumbai after a gap of five years. Supermodel Ujjwala Raut will walk the ramp for Monisha Jaising this season.
“Riviera” promises to take you “Back to the Future”, infused with Monisha Jaising’s signature artistic flare. Reminiscent of the early 60’s and drawing inspiration from the sun kissed nymph Brigitte Bardot, the collection is a mélange of western and Indian ensembles, each the epitome of elegance and glamour. Brigitte Bardot embodied the spirit of the French Riviera that nobody has managed to emulate.
