Synergon books Q2 loss; revenue falls on base effect

IT company Synergon booked a second-quarter net loss of HUF 97 mln as revenue declined in the base period in Hungary, an earnings report released late yesterday reveals, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Revenue was down 50% to HUF 775 mln, falling as the company wound up an order for a passenger information system. The gross margin dropped 56% to HUF 214 mln, while after-tax profit slipped 173% to HUF 108 mln.
