When it comes to innovation, there’s nothing to beat tinseltown. And with every film that’s produced, the makers show their one-upmanship. Take the case of Guru Films and Multi-Dimension Entertainment project with debutant Premsai wielding the megaphone and Yami Gautham, an import of course, and Nithiin in lead roles.

Gautham Vasudev Menon, who made waves with Gharshana and Yem Maaya Chesaave , who is presenting the film under the said banner, is leaving nothing to chance in fine-tuning Courier Boy Kalyan (CBK), that’s in its final stages of post-production. It has multiple music directors with Karthik, who composed music for three songs, and Anup Rubens for another song, while Sandeep Chowta is busy with the background score.

Debutant though he may be, Premsai has the credit of working with Prabhu Deva as an associate director for a long time now. Hero Nithiin has his fingers crossed for two of his recent films, Heart Attack and Chinnadaana Neekosam , turned out to be average grossers at the BO. In CBK though, the director is said to have designed a role that shows the hero as one who has ‘exceptional’ comedy timing. Others in the cast include Ashutosh Rana, Nasser, Harshavardhan and Surekha Vani.

Drumming up hype for Chiranjeevi’s film

Serious efforts are on to drum up hype for the 150th movie of actor Chiranjeevi. If the extravagant 60th bash last Saturday was all about the star power that the actor still yields, then the select interviews appearing frequently in certain entertainment media sections is to keep the buzz alive among fans.

While the guessing game is still on, it’s more or less confirmed now that young actors from the Mega family, including actor Ramcharan, will make an appearance. The latest on the script front too is that the movie might be a remake of an already hit movie. Going by the interviews, announcements and the photo shoots regarding the megastar, it is clear that in just a few days from now, the official announcement regarding the most-awaited project will be made.
