TALKING SHOP 1THE people running Pizza Inn at Pick ‘n Pay-anchored Woodlands Shopping Mall have found a way of punishing their esteemed customers who turn up for “Terrific Tuesday” buy-one-pizza-and-get-two
promotion.
While the tellers are swift to collect the money from the potential buyers ordering the pizzas, there is no one to serve the pizzas to the customers some of who wait for several hours after the pizza has already been made.
The promotion which entails getting two pizzas for the price of one has become an unbearable chore because of the long wait, compounded by the deafening silence by the workers, who seemingly have no iota of regard for the customers who “pay” their salaries.
*** KAFUE District will soon have the first shopping mall whose construction works have reached an advanced stage.
For a long time now, shoppers in the area have been complaining of lack of a shopping mall despite the district’s proximity to the capital city Lusaka, which has countless of them.
The opening of the new mall in Kafue will go a long way in easing shopping for the people some of who have been traveling to Lusaka just to do their shopping.

IT is amazing that some business houses still have prolonged payment systems whereby if one is buying something from them one needs to set aside good two to three hours because of laborious payment procedures.
Some of these companies have not less than three sales points and at each point, a customer will have to join a queue and present different types of documents before finally collecting their purchases.
Most of these companies deal in especially equipment like generators and farming implements but it would be better if they can cut down on the long procedures in the buying process to avoid unnecessarily delaying their precious customers.
