PM hails ISRO scientists on successful launch

Indian Space Research Organisation this evening successfully launched GSAT-6 on board GSLV-D6 from the spaceport of Sriharikota near here, making it as the second successive one after January 2014 launch.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated the ISRO team on the successful launch of the country's latest communication satellite GSAT-6, terming it as a "phenomenal accomplishment"."Another day & another phenomenal accomplishment by our scientists. Congratulations @isro for the successful launch of GSAT-6" he tweeted.
