Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner split came as a shock to many. And it was widely speculated that the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star's ex-finacee Jennifer Lopez could be the reason for the divorce as Garner had issues with Ben's friendship with his exes. But it looks like it's JLo who is ultimately offering a shoulder to the "Daredevil" actor to cope with his divorce.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were one of the most-popular Hollywood couples, so when they called off their engagement in 2004, fans were really disappointed. But now, almost after a decade, it seems the two have rekindled their friendship as they are reportedly talking again.

According to Hollywood Life, the exes continue to confide in each other as Ben is looking for support from people close to him.

"Ben and JLo have been talking and texting since he split with Jennifer. Ben never felt he was allowed to maintain a relationship with her as it would only make Jennifer jealous and angry," a source said.

The source also said that Jen understands Ben's situation and has always been very supportive. "When news of him splitting came out JLo reached out to him just to see how he was holding up. Since then they have talked a few times and it's been really nice. Jen knows what it's like to go through a rough divorce when you have young children. She also really makes Ben laugh and was always super supportive. She believes in him so it was great for Ben to hear from her when he feels so down and out," the source added.

The report further pointed out that since the singer and the actor are both single again, fans may expect Bennifer to get back together. But it's quite unlikely, an insider said.

"Too much time has passed and they are in a very different place for them to reunite romantically. But it looks like they may have the beginnings of a good friendship after all these years," an insider shared.

Well, it looks like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez at least continue to be good friends.
