Chief Keen For More Government visitation
The paramount chief of Nadroga/Navosa, Ratu Kinijoji Vosailagi is urging Government to make more visits to his province.
His spokesperson, Ratu Tevita Makutu, said Ratu Kinijoji wanted Government officers to meet people from his province.
He said most of the people who joined the rebel group did so because their concerns were not addressed.
“These people were made false promises by the group behind the rebel group and were easily tempted to join,” he said.
He said in Cuvu Village, the removal of the rebel flag signalled unity in the village with the exception of the late Ratu Osea Gavidi family.
The Police removed the flag last week.
Ratu Makutu said Ratu Kinijoji had called on his people to support and work with the FijiFirst Government.
