VARANASI: Chaotic situation prevailed in a private school in Harbanshpur locality in Sidhari police station area of Azamgarh when some goons went on rampage and beat students and teachers on Wednesday. The school management alleged that the goons were the men of former BJP MP Ramakant Yadav. The police lodged an FIR against former BJP MP and six other unidentified persons.
Yadav, however, termed is as a political conspiracy by the ruling party leaders.
According to reports, over some minor issue a group of Yadav supporter allegedly entered the school campus and started beating students and school staff. About six persons including students were injured in this incident.
In protest against the attack the students blocked the road and staged demonstration. The police reached there after getting information. The school manager Rajendra Yadav alleged that the men of BJP former MP were indulged in violence. The inspector of Sidhari police station told TOI over phone that an FIR was registered against BJP leader and six unidentified persons in this regard. Police force was deployed in the area to avert any untoward situation.
On the other hand the Rama Kant Yadav when contacted over phone said that it was a conspiracy to tarnish his image by Samajwadi Party leaders. "I was outstation, and came to know about the incident through administration,"he said adding that he always extended his support to the school.
