Cesc Fabregas , Diego Costa and Cesar Azpilicueta welcomed Pedro back to England by going for a meal out in London.

Pedro had been in Barcelona to say a final goodbye to the Catalan giants and his friends, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Co.

But the new £22million man was back in rainy London for a meal with his new teammates on Tuesday and Fabregas shared the moment on his Instagram page.

Chelsea's Spanish contingent were joined by Dureis Silva, a close friend of Costa who is a personal assistant in sports marketing.

Pedro joined Chelsea despite being widely expected to link up with Manchester United and found the net on his debut against West Brom.

The Spaniard's deflected effort trickled into the corner of the net, before he laid up Costa to double the score on their way to a 3-2 win at the Hawthorns.

Following the match, he jetted back to Barcelona for his official farewell ceremony, in which every member of the Barcelona squad showed their appreciation for his services.

During the briefing, Pedro confirmed that both Manchester clubs had made a play for his services, but the bright lights of London, along with Jose Mourinho and former team-mate Cesc Fabregas, had persuaded him to join the Blues.

"I was very flattered by the interest from some of England's biggest clubs, like United and City," he said.

"But Chelsea were the team that could resolve the situation the quickest and who showed the most interest in me.

"I discussed it with everyone, but the Chelsea offer attracted me, although it felt a little strange wearing the Blue shirt at first!

"I'm lucky enough to know some of the players, like Cesc [Fabregas] from Barça, but also from the national team, Diego [Costa].

"I can already see there is a winning mentality at the club — John Terry is a great captain, he has a really strong mentality — and the reception I have had has been incredible. I've felt really comfortable from the first moment."
