Photographer and hotelier Ajaish Jaiswal recently put up an exhibition of his photographs clicked at the Bada Imambara. His fourth exhibition on the monument, Asafi Parinde, came with a twist, for the photographer not only captured the monument in beautiful frames, but also the birds that frequent the monument! "I have clicked the different kinds of birds that one can spot at the Bada Imambara.
It took me more than a year to come up with these pictures," said Ajaish.
And it wasn't just the photographer who was excited about the exhibition. Even the spectators were smitten by the beauty of the birds against the backdrop of the historical monument. "When people click monuments, they mostly focus on the architecture. However, it is good to see that Ajaish has focussed on the birds instead," said Amrit Abhijat, Director General, UP Tourism, who was also the chief guest on the occasion. Later, Abhijat was gifted one of Ajaish's works.
While Ajaish looked after the guests, his better half, Sangeeta was spotted looking after the arrangements. Old Bollywood numbers playing in the background, which is rare at an exhibition, were enjoyed by all.
Prof Rakesh Chandra seemed pretty excited about the exhibition. Rakesh, had written an introduction about the concept of the exhibition, which was framed and put up at the exhibition, and he made sure that all his friends read it.
