A sessions court has kept hearing on Wednesday on an objection application raised against the demand for passport made by dismissed IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt. Bhatt sought permission to travel to UK to help his daughter settle for further studies.

AHMEDABAD: A sessions court has kept hearing on Wednesday on an objection application raised against the demand for passport made by dismissed IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt. Bhatt sought permission to travel to UK to help his daughter settle for further studies. His passport is with the Mirzapur court in connection with an FIR lodged with Ghatlodiya police station.
The objection has been raised by one Amrut Vaishnani, a relative of Prabhudas Vaish nani, who died of renal failure after he was allegedly beaten in custody in Jamkhambha lia in 1990.
He has claimed that the issuance of passport to Bhatt will affect the trial in Jamkhambhalia court also.
